Rewa Chan

Rewa Chan enters her 8th year coaching with CALI.  Since being with the CALI Club, she has coached many different teams. She served as the 14 Blue and 18 Blue Head Coach in which both teams won regionals as well as coached 13 Red, 14 Gold and assist with many other teams. She attended Midwood High School in Brooklyn, NY where she played Basketball, Soccer, Volleyball and Track and Field and won the highest athletic award for a female high school student. Additionally, she was nominated for and won the female athlete of the school, received Army/Navy scholarship award for college, and was Pegasus Award runner up for Volleyball and Soccer.

After high school, Chan received a 4yr Division 1 scholarship to St. Francis College NY (Northeast Conference) for Volleyball and Softball. During her tenure, she was named MVP for Volleyball while obtaining a bachelor degree in Psychology minor in Physical Therapy. Chan is currently a 23yr Elementary Physical education teacher for the NYC Dept. of Education, Member of the GEVA AA Club team Creole Big Apple.

Volleyball Coach for BMCC (Borough Manhattan Community College) 1994-1999, Girls and Boys Varsity Head Coach Jamaica High School 1995-1999, Girls Varsity Soccer Coach High School Environmental Studies 2000-2001, Division 1 Northeast Conference Asst. Volleyball Coach at St. Francis College 2 yrs., Asst. Volleyball Coach at College of Mount St. Vincent 1-2yrs., Head Coach at CUNY school Medgar Evers College 1 yr, Asst. Volleyball Coach NY Technical College 1 yr, Head Junior Varsity Coach for LREI (Little Red Elizabeth Irwin High School) 2012 - Present
