Steve Klosterman

Steve Klosterman is probably one of the most spectacular new CALI coaches for the last few years.  One of the most decorated players in the history of UCLA Volleyball Steve is in his first season as an assistant coach at Hofstra in 2019.

Klosterman has extensive club volleyball coaching experience, most recently serving as a lead technical coach and trainer for the Chicago Bounce Volleyball Club. Since 2013, he has also worked with the Huntington Beach Volleyball Club as both a head coach and assistant coach.  While at HBC he coached Josh Tuiniga and TJ DeFalco, both of whom recently captured AVCA Player of the Year honors and earned national titles at Long Beach State.

He was a two-time All-American at UCLA during a career which spanned from 2003 to 2007 and he was named MVP of the 2006 National Championship that UCLA captured. After his time as student athlete Steve played professionally from 2007 to 2014 in Puerto Rico, France, Finland, Egypt, Qatar, Vietnam and Czech Republic.
