When should I arrive for the tryout? Arrive at least 20 minutes before your scheduled tryout time to allow for parking, check-in, and warm-ups with the group.
What happens when I get there? Check-in at the entrance of the gym, submit completed paperwork and tryout fee, receive a t-shirt and try-out number, and wait in the gym for the tryout to begin.
How does the tryout work? The tryout includes offensive, defensive, technical, and conditional drills. Coaches will assess each player's skills and select teams based on their performance. Court placement during tryout sessions doesn't indicate final team placement.
Do I have to attend all tryout dates? It's not mandatory, but attending multiple tryout sessions is highly recommended to showcase your skills. Which teams can I qualify for? There are travel teams, regional teams, and aspire teams. The skill levels may vary, but everyone has the opportunity to develop into better players.
What if I'm missing paperwork at the tryout date? You must have all paperwork submitted to participate in tryouts. Double-check everything before the first tryout.
I'm feeling nervous about the tryout. Stay relaxed and well-rested before the tryout. Remember to have fun playing the sport you love!
How will I receive invitations? Coaches and club directors will contact you and your family using the primary email provided during registration. Check your email regularly, including spam/junk folders.
